Leave io Appeal Granted. Per Press Association. , Dunedin, February 28. Leave to appeal has been granted in tho case of Findlay, convicted of robbery at Papakaio. It was granted by Judge Williams on tho groundthattho verdict was against tho evidence. His Honor said he had consulted Judge Cooper who tried Findlay for murder on evidence which, in nearly all respects, was the same. The ease comes before tho Court of Appeal at tho first sitting.
