Press Association. CnmsTciiuacii, February 28. Figures supplied by Mr G. Munro, Commissioner, as to the financial position are interesting. Mr Munro says tho expenditure - will amount to £IOO,OOO and tho revenue £105,000. This leaves a deficit of £55,000, but tho sale of Exhibition material and other property is expected to amount to £20,000 reducing tho deficit to £55,000. Gatos were expected to roach £50,000; space in tho Exhibition £50,000; percentage of sales made by exhibitors, returns from art gallery, concert hall, and other attractions £25,000. Tho Government had already expended £75,000 on the Exhibition, and received up to tho present revenue amounting to £15,000.
