ASSAULT ON A DOCTOR.
Heavy Damages Claimed, Per Press Association. Stbatfoed, February 20. In the District Court to-day a ease is being heard in which Dr. T. L. Paget claims £SOO for alleged damages for an assault by which he suffered serious bodily injury in the shape of a broken bone in the elbow. The defence is a general denial of the alleged assault, and, further, in the alternative, justification on the ground that whatever defendant did was in self-defence and to expel plaintiff, who had first assaulted him.
