Per Press Association. Christchurch, February IS. The adjourned inquest was held to-day concerning the death of Cecil P. Gibson, who died at the hospital on Thursday shortly after his admission.- Tho inquest had to bo adjourned in order that certain organs might bo examined, poison being suspected. To-day medical evidence was given that death was duo to internal trouble, and a verdict was returned accordingly. A girl named Ivy Warner, aged 19, was brought to tho Christchurch Hospital about 3 o’clock this morning suffering from a severe wound in the throat, alleged to have been self-inflicted. The girl had been staying with relations at Aylesbury and was found yesterday evening with her throat badly cut and a butcher’s knife close ’by. Sho was brought to the hospital at once. N» reason is assigned for the act. The girl is at present in a serious conditiion. A little girl named Lizzie Marks jumped cjff a Fapanui train, this afternoon, while it was in motion, and struck one of tho poles. Her head was seriously injured and she died shortly afterwards. He was tamping a horizontal boro \vlth clay, using an iron rod, while his father, Alfred Vincent, supplied the clay. Soou after tamping began the charge exploded, blowing young Vincent and a block of stono about a ton weight half a chain. One leg was shattered and the other limbs and the head were badly hurt. He was removed to the hospital. The father was cut about tho scalp and'face and bruised about tho limbs. Another son was whirled around the engine shaft at the quarry two or three weeks ago, but is recovering.,
