WRECK AT THE CROZETS.

The German ship Doruyter,from Philadelphia to Japan, signalled Quecnsoliff that it had ship-wrecked mariners aboard. A tug wont out and brought ashore Captain Eoo- and two sailors, belonging to the Danish schooner, Catherine. Their vessel was wrecked at the Crozet Islands, on December 14th. All hands arc safe on the Island. The captain and two men left in one of the ship’s boats to get assistance, and were at sea nine days when t]jny were picked up by the Deruyicr. Tho Captain’s StoryMjetjjotjkme, February 1-1. The Captain of'flip Catherine fears that the eleven men left on the Crozets are badly off. The stores on tho Island were loft there in 1860. The hut has been blown dow’n and the goods scattered on' the beach were, perished and uneatable. The men were living on seals. Their only firewood was w’hat they could get from the v/reckago of tho vessel. They had been a month on tho Island before bo sailed to try to reach Australia. The vessel went to pieces in a hurricane and the crew' in tw'o boats were caught by a huge wave and hurled ashore. Ho suggestsJ,hat a fast steamer should he sent from the Capo. It could reach the Island in nine days.
