BUCK-JUMPING.

A new and novel entertainment is advertised in to-day’s issue for Monday night, when the Australian Buck-jumping Exhibition will take place in Marton at tiie rear of Mclndoe’s Stables. Lovers of a good evening’s entertainment should not miss this unique performance as it is undoubtedly the best of its kind ever seen in New Zealand. The riders represent the pick of Australian horsemen and include the winners of many competitions, including that at the Woodville Show in which they filled the three places. The horses include the well-known “ Hastings Bobs ” and Acrobat, the successful rider of which will earn £2 a minute. Then again there are two bullocks who have only been once successfully ridden and a substantial prize is offered to the lucky rider. These and many other, selected bucking horses make up a very enjoyable evening and two hours good fun is guaranteed. The management invite local buck-jumpers which they will ride free and will buy any horse giving a good exhibition or exchange quiet onest Owners of unmanageable horses should not miss the chance of a lifetime to get rid of them. The performance commences at 8 o’clock and entrance can be gained next Mclndoe’s Stables. The lighting arrangements are good and ladies can attend with perfect safety.
