The Canterbury Jockey Club’s summer lileoting opened to-day in dull weather, 'the attendance was only moderate and the fields were small. The totalisator investments amounted to <£5,403. Ehetaiiuna, February 8.

The stewards of the Eketahuua Racing Club held an inquiry last night into the running of Monsieur Boaucaire in the Flying Handicap. The evidence showed the horse was pulled and the jockey Anderson and trainer woro disqualified for six months.
