Evidence was called to show that Thaw’s demeanour was irrational at tho moment of tho tragedy. Homan,? the Theatre stage doorkeeper testified that White in December, 1903, threatened to kill Thaw. Witness informed the police and Thaw.

The prosecution has now sub poenaod Homan to prevent his quitting the jurisdiction of the Court, New York, February 7.

Del mas instead of Gieasbn now leads Thaw’s defence, he and others having threatened to relinquish their briefs owing to Tuesday’s fiasco with a weak witness.
