ATTACK ON THE LORDS.

Mr Winston Churchill, speaking at Manchester, attacked the House of Lords, characterising them ns agents of one party and champions of the landed interests. He declared that before appealing to the country on the subject of the House of Lords the Commons must pass a couple of good Radical budgets. The power of the purse was the first of the groat weapons whereby Commons would be able to make their will effective over the whole area of Government and legislation.
