A Charge *of Theft. \ Per Press Association. Oamaeu, January 31. John Finalay, who was recently tried and acquitted on the charge of murdering Kcnnie, sehoolmaiter at Papakaio. was charged to-day at the S.M. Court with burglary and stealing from the schoolhouse a gold watch and razor, twelve blank cheques, and a torpedo bicycle. Tho bicycle was recently found submerged in a branch of the Waitalri itivcr.

Up to the hour of adjournment the only evidence given was as to tho identiheation of the bicycle. The ease will bo resumed in the morning.
