OUTBREAK OF PLAGUE.

Press Association.—Copyright. • Beisbans, January 23. A telegram from Port Douglas reports an alarming outbreak of plague in Mossman district. There are 28 cases in the hospital, and it is believed 10 more will be brought in to-day. Five camps are affected. The majority of victims are white. One fatal case has occurred, but the disease is in a mild form.
