KIWITEA RIFLE ASSOCIATION

The eighth annual mealing of above Wiii held at Cheltenham yesterday in line weather. There was a large reduction in the number of competitors compared with Li.it year, only 41 being present. Tile wind was blowing dead across the range, and was very variable, especially at 7bo yards, where some of the competitors failed, to imd 100 target, Col.Bergt. Aitken, of the Manchester Eifles, Keilding, won the Champion Belt and gold modal with a total of 121 otl the rifle. He also put up the only possible at the meeting, at 500 yards. His range sc res were 200, 22 ; '>oo. 2o ; GOO, 2S ; 700, 2(1. Lieut. Oomigan, Manchester Ratios, was second with 111, and J. Pickering, Linton Lille Club, third with 112. For the highest aggregate including handicap, C'apt. J. Barrow Cheltenham Ratio Club, seas first with 121, b'dng' closely followed by \ 01. Bell:, Manchester, and -Rifleman Cholf, Apiti ICC., 120 each. There was no competition in the teams match, the Manchester Kitles being the only entrant:-'. C.ipt. J).
