Press Association. —Copyright, London, January 20. There was a dense fog in tho Channel on Friday night and Saturday. During its existence the Peninsular and Oriental Co’s steamer Moldavia, homeward bound, grounded on the Goodwin Sands-, abreast of Deal, at 7 o’clock on Saturday moaning. The Walmor life-boat was launched, bill; its services wore not required, it being tine weather. Tho steamer refloated at noon undamaged and proceeded on its voyage.
