Proposed Imperial Council

Per Press Association,

Wellington, January 16.

At a meeting of the N.Z. Eugby Union to-night, it was decided to send an invitation to South Africa to despatch a team to New Zealand. It was resolved to approve of the proposals of the N.S.W. Eugby Union for setting up an Imperial Council consisting of representatives of the various Colonial and British Eugby Unions, the Council to have control of the laws of the game.
