Per Press Association. Wellington, January 10. To-night’s Gazette contains the summarised results of the census, taken in April last, as to the religious denomina- 1 tions of the people. The total population of the Colony, exclusive of Maoris, was 888,579, and for religious purposes 886,694. The various denominations are given as follows; No. Increase.
