The building strike has ended and the men resumed work this morning.

A conference between masters and men wi.l shortly settle the points in dispute. ’Work, estimated at £200,000, was at a standstill through the strike, while it is estimated that the men lost £36,000 in wages and the union paid about £IO,OOO in strike pay.
