EXPLOSION AT IRON WORKS.
Press Association Co pyright. New York, January 10. An explosion at the Eiga furnaces of the Jones Laughlin steel works at Pittsburg is reported. Many were killed and injured. The gas explosion at the JonesLaughlin Company liberated streams of molten metal 5 feet deep. Out of thirty-five men only one escaped unhurt by racing faster than the metal flowed. The rest were fatally injured or burnt to a cinder.
