GERMAN COLONIES.
Press Association—Copyright. Berlin, January 10. Herr Dernburg, the now Secretary for the Colonies, is seeking to interest the intellectuals in the future of the colonies. Ho also assures the working classes that they will benefit largely beyond their contribution to the cost of the colonies. He admits that Germany must at present forego the occupancy of Wamba’s country in South-west Africa owing to the warlike attitude of the tribesmen.
