THE AMEER IN INDIA.
Per Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Calcutta, Yesterday. The Ameor of Afghanistou, who is on his way to Agra to meet the Governor-General of India, with his bodyguard consisting of his sons, certain chiefs, and an escort of 1110 men, has arrived at Laudikotal. King Edward has cabled to the Ameer that the visit has occasioned groat gratification, indicating as it does, friendly relations between Afghanistan and India.
