PAPAKURA TOWN BOARD.
At the last meeting of the Papakura Town Boar.d there were present —Messrs. S.< Evans (chairman), T. D. Campbell, R. Montgomery, J. Rea, D. W. Jones-and the- clerk (Mr. A. L. Cooper). £SOO For Park Development. The Prime Minister advised that £SOO on a £1 for £1 basis for the development of the park and recreation ground was available.—lt was decided to take steps to lift the money. Proposed Borough. On the caption .of Messrs. Jones and Rea, "ic was decided to take steps to have a census of the district made for the purpose of forming a borough.
