FUKEKOTIE (SUCCESSES AT T.E AROHA. Two nnkfßgpm the, Pukekohe Bowling CGpKU : Making part in the Bowling Tournament at Te Aroha. Up to the sixth round both have been fairly successful, particularly Mr G. H. Armstrong's rink comprising W. Wright, J. H. Waters, F. Perkins and G. H. Armstrong (skip). They have played six games, won three, lost tv&vwhile one is unfinished. Mr K. F. Fitness' rink of J. H. Hey worth, J. Crosbie, J. J. Coady unci R. F. Fitness (skip) have played six games, won two, lost three, while one is also unfinished. In Armstrong's section Bygrave (Te Aroha) is leading with six wins and no losses, while in Fitness' section Morrison (Te Aroha) is leading with four wins, one loss and one unfinished, so according to the telegraphed report both rinks appear to have no chance of annexing the prize attached to the tournament.
WAIU K U TO URN AMENT WON BY CRIBBLE. PUKEKOHE. Yesterday six rinks from the local club participated in the tournament held under the auspices of the Waiuku Bowling Club. Both sections were won by Pukekohe rinks, these two trying conclusians in the final which resulted: S. Gribble, F. Rae, B. Clarke, H. V. Gribble (s) 28 v. G. G. Littlejohn, K. L. Cannell, Jos. Adams, J. 11. Keith (s) 13. CHRISTMAS DAY TOURNEY. The local Bowling Club held a most successful bowling tournament on Christmas Day. the winners being Pulman, Cram, Wright, Armstrong (s). On Boxing Day a pairs tournament was won by Butler and Buchan (s). PUKEKOHE v. HUNTLY. On Saturday, January Bth, a number of rinks from Huntly will meet Pukekohe on the local green.
