J UNVEILING OF MEMORIAL

PREMIER TO OFFICIATE

The ceremony of unveiling the Manurewa War Memorial Monument will be performed by the Right Hon. W. F. Massey, Prime Minister, on Sunday, January 2, 1921. A large concourse of relatives of the dead, returned soldiers, and general public arc expected to be present. The service will begin at 2.30 p.m. Provision has been made for at least one breath for each of the dead neroes, but other floral tributes by relatives and* friends will be welcome. The members of the various surrounding local governing bodies are expected to be present. Given fine weather a very large gathering is expected to be present and thus honour our glorious dead.
