So iety the secretary reported that tho building fund -was very much in ar )rears, as the building of the new winter show sheds had been a heavj drain on its resources. After discussion it was considered advisable V' ::et up a fete in aid of the 'funds and a sub-committ'ee was appointed to make arrangements. The sub-committee has had two meetings, and has got a rough sketch of the programme outlined. The dati selected is Saturday, December 18 1920. It is suggested that a floral fete be held and a procession together with a sports ,programme consisting of foot races, bicycle races and hors/ competitions. There is also a suggestion that a Christmas tree and promenade concert be held at night in the winter sjhow shed, the total proceeds to be fjonated towards the building fund. *%.
