He immediately communicated with the police at Papakura. who came out. and, with Mr, West, removed the body to the shantv pending its removal to the Drurv Hote4. where the inquest will he held to day. After further search Ihe foot was found where deceased had been splitting posts, the axe beside it, he evidently having accidentally severed the foot, the axe being exceptionally sharp.
