WEDDING BELLS.
CLARK—O'NEILL. 1 A quiet but very pretty wedding took place in St. Patrick's Church, Pukekohe, on Wednesday, October 27, the Rev. Father Molloy officiating, the contracting parties being Mr, Charles W. Clark, returned soldier, of Awhitu and Ellen (Nellie) C. O'Neill, of Pukekohe, late of Dublin, Ireland. The bride, who was given away by Mr. Arthur Clark, brother of the bridegroom, looked charming in blue georgette, while she wore 'the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful bouquet of white heath and asparagtis fern. She was attended by three little * bridesmaids, the Misses, Mary, Rita and Patricia Clark, nieces of the bridegroom. They looked sweet in white voile frocks, each carrying a shower bouquet of sweet peas and asparagus fern (presented by Miss E. Maxwell, one of the guests). The bridegroom was supported by his brother, Mr. Phillip Clark, as best man. The gifts of tlie bridegroom to the bridesmaids were handsome brooches and bangle. After the ceremony the guests adjourned to the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Clnrk, where a dainty breakfast was partaken of. the dining-room being prettily decorated for the occasion. A two-tier wedding cake graced the centre of the table. Later u\ the evening the happy couple left »y motor for their future home in Awhitu, the bride's travelling costume being navy cloth with hat to match. The presents were numerous, being valuable and useful.
