BOWLING.
PUKEKOHE CLUB. LABOUR DAY TOURNEY. WON BY ARMSTRONG. The Labour Day tournament held under the auspices of the Pukekohe Bowling Club was a brilliant success from all points of view. Throughout the day there was a large attendance of enthusiasts, and one and all thoroughly enjoyed the outing. Some keen games were witnessed, eventually Mr. G. H. Armstrong's rink annexing the prize attached to the tournament, with Mr. A. M. Barriball, of Waiuku, second. Refreshments were partaken of during the afternoon and duly appreciated. Blake two wins, four losses and a thaw; King two wins, five losses; Pullman, two wins, five losses; Fit ness one win, one draw and. live losses, in the play-off between Armstrong and Cribble for the section. premiership, Armstrong's rink won by seven points to nil. Barriball, one win, two draws and four losses; H. Bockett, one draw and six losses. Tlic Final. The final between W. Wright, W. Butler. W. Crispe, C H. Armstrong (skip) and Creenhead, Elmsley, Christiansen and A. M. Barriball (skip) resulted in favour of Armstrong's rink by 18 points to SI.
