FIRE BRIGADE SPORTS.

LOCALS COMPETE. Two teams representing the Pukekohe Fire Brigade competed in the fire brigade events held in connexion with the Labour Day sports at Auckland yesterday. Tn the three-mei hose, hydrant and union (dry) event the No. 2 team, consisting of H. Rollinson, D. Jones, and H. Junes tied for second place \<ith Green Lane ir 3-lsec. The event was won by Onehunga No. 1 in 32 3-ssec. Pukekohe No. 1 team, consisting of W. 4dams. L. Brown and H. Rollinson failed to gain a situation. Eleven teams competed. In the five-men hose, hyd rant and union event, the local team put up 28sec, but ,Dsec. penalty on a bad branch put them out of the contest. The event was won by Devonport in 30 3-ssec.
