PUKEKOHE V. TUAKAU. LATTER WINS BY 209 POINTS. A team of six players from Pukekohe representing Mr. Hastings bil Hard room visited Tuakau on Wednesday last to try conclusions on the green cloth. The visitors from Pukekohe wetmatched against an equal number of Tuakau players. The following is the result, Pukekohe players' names being mentioned first in each case:— W. Blake. 200 beat J. Geraglrtv, 136; J. O'Mnllev, 190, lost to W. J. Taylor, 200; W. Butler. I 15, lost to P.' M. Keppel, 200: W. Granderson. 100, lost to E. Half, 2o<>; ]f. Plevdell. 05, losl to F. Gordon, 200: J. Hindman, 157, lost to J. Mander, 200. Totals: Pukekohe. 027: Tuakau, 11,%.
Tuakau thus won b\ 2n'> points. Some very good play was wilnossed, including a break of 51 ny Keppel. The visitors we:e entertained later, all being well pleased with the evening's contest.
