MOTOR ACCIDENT.

COLLISION ENDS FATALLY. DEATH OF MISS McGLYKK. The death occurred at the Auckland Hospital on Tuesday morning of Miss Hazel McGlynn, of Papakura. Miss McGlynn was admitted to the institution last week as the result of injuries to the head, received through a motor-car in which she was riding colliding with a telegraph post. Mr. A. Ryan, a cousin of the deceased, who was driving the car, also received injuries, and is still in the hospital in a more or less serious condition. The exact manner in which the accident occurred is still more or less a mystery, but the police have the matter in hand, and it is understood that further disclosures will be made when the inquest is held.

An inquest was opened before Mr. McKean, S.M., at Auckland, but after evidence of identification bad been taken the proceedings were adjourned for further enquiry.
