TENNIS CLUB BALL. EVENT OF THE SEASON, gjj The annual ball of the Tuakau Tennis Club took place on Friday ast, the 24th inst., and provc|l quite che event of the festive season. A: strong committee of both ladiea. apd gentlemen had been busy for some i.ime in organising the ball, and they are to be congratulated on the absoute success of their effo;|-s. Tuakau iias never seen their hall so tastefully decorated or their floor in such perfect order a» on Friday night. Special thankd for the success of the ball are due to both the men'ss committee of the club (in charge of"* the secretary, Mr. Roberts), and ladies' committee (in charge, of Mfpft Tregurtha), who worked hard |fo make the ball a success, ~-j»?
