A PHENOMENAL BULLOCK.

A few days ago a bullock was put oft a railway train at Pukekohe due to soreness, through standing in a truck. The'animal was led through ♦King Street and eventually located in ' a paddock at the rear of High School now in the course of erection. During the last lew clays an endless chain of people has inspected the bullock to satisfy their curiosity, and found that the animal was nothing less than phenomenal. Prom what information we can gather, and it is not altogether authentic, the beast was born in the Otago Province soihe three years ago. lie stands about 6ft. Gin. in height,'and measures over 3ft. across the rump. His girth measurement is great, but a peculiar feature is that he docs not cover a great deal of ground, Ho weighs about Wewt. The animal, we understand, was recently on exhibition at Hamilton, and was being taken to Auckland for shipment to England. It is claimed that he is the largest bullock in the world.
