MUSIC EXAMINATIONS.
PUKEKOHE CONVENT SUCCESSES. The following is a list of the successful candidates of the Pukekohe Convent who sat for the recent practical examinations of the Trinity College of Music, London, conducted by Mr. Chas. Schilsky and the Associated Hoard of the K.A.M. and R.C.M.. London, conducted by Mr Alffred Quaife. The examiners commended tin- teachers (the Sisters of the Mission) on tin; excellent results achieved and the high standard of music rendered by the pupils: Higher Local: Miss Gwendoline Fulton, Mis*> Irene Williams. Senior: Miss Marjorie Richards. Intermediate: Miss Constance Young, singing. Piano (honours), Miss Lila Rae. Piano (pass), Misses j Patricia Lyne, Hilda Williams, Kathleen Neil.
Junior: Misses Wilma Scott, Doro- | thy Beaj>lcy, Mollie Butler, Masters Cecil Rogers, Arthur Fountain. Preparatory: Misses Cecilia Gorringe, Monica McGahan, Daisy Chadwick, Eileen O'Donoghue, Mary Clark. First Steps: Misses Lonia McGahan, Eva Horan, Joan Cook, Grace Keating,, Joan Mas.sey, Master Edward Fountain. Advanced Local; Miss Iris Fulton. Higher Division; Miss Olive Uaird. Lower Division: Misses Meryl Scott. Utiie Shields-Hoi;an. Elementary: Miss Thelma Butcher. Primary: Miss Mollie Egan, Miss Alma Gurnoy. The thirty-one candidates presented were successful.
