THORN FURTHER REMANDED.

Samuel John Thorn (34), the lain) labourer who was arrested on a charge of having murdered Sidney Seymour Eyre, a farmer, at PukeiTawa, on August 24, came before Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M., yesterday morning, at the Auckland Police Court, and was further remanded for eight days. The accused was represented by Mr. 11. A. Singer. It is not likely that the trial will be proceeded with within the next fortnight.
