| LOAN PROPOSAL CARRIED. BY SUBSTANTIAL MAJORITY. The proposal to raise a loan of <:7o<M» for the erection of a hall to be known as the Tuakau Memorial Hall was carried at a poll of ratepayers on Wc'/'sdav by n substantial 'majority. the voting being: For the proposal .. I(>2 Against the proposal .. 48 Informal <1 Majority in favour of loan .. 54 The hall will now be erected on a site at the corner of George and Liverpool Streets and Henderson's Avenue.
