COMBINED BREEDERS
MEETING RE SALE.
A meeting of the combined cattle breeders' representatives was held in the A. and P. Association's Office on Saturday afternoon, the business being in connexion with the forthcoming sale of pedigree cattle. Mr. K. F. Wilkinson (president of the Jersey llroedeiAssocia'ion) occupied the chair.
The meeting decided to adhere to the decision arrived at at the previous meeting to the effect that no post-entries be received. It was agreed that all cattle should he branded with their catalogue numbers, in white, so that buyers would have no difficulty in identifying them and readily referring to the information in the "catalogue. The meeting also decided that the tilling in of the transfers was to be done bv the sellers.
The chairman urged that as many members of the general committee as could possibly should be prosent on the morning of the sale to lend a hand.
The sale is to be held on Thursday September 30. See advt.
