During the course of an address to the Wellington Educational Institute on ''Some Aspects of Physical Training in Schools," Mr. H. E. Longworth, the Education Department's chief physical instructor, .Criticised the use of school desks. *'l am not in favour of desks of any kind for children attending schools," he said, "I think they should have chairs and tables. They are more advantageous from a physical point of view.
