"The Boss of the Lazy Y." As the name indicates ranch life this is a rough-riding, roarin' drama of the western plains adapted from the novel by Charles Seltzer. The story is produced by the Triangle Company, and the leading role is played by Roy Stewart, the champion rough rider and lasso man of the west. This photoplay will be screened at the Premier Hall at the usual picture prices. No extrn charge will be made. Full particulars will be given in Friday's "Times."

THE DIGGERS' BALL.

The second annual "Diggers'" ball, Mider the auspices of the Returned Soldiers' Association,, will be held in i,/ie Premier Hall on Tuesday, August _4. Those who attended the inaugural ball last year spent a royal time, and dancing enthusiasts who intend patronising No. 2 Diggers' ball can rest assured that this year's function will be as highly successful as its predecessor. Don't make an appointment for the 24th inst., but be sure and attend the Diggers' ball. Tickets are procurable everywhere. Buy one now.

LEAP YEAR BALL.

What promises to be a novelty as far as Pukekohe is concerned is the grand Leap Year ball to be held in the Premier Hall on Thursday, September 2. An energetic committee of ladies has been formed, and intending patrons can rest, assured that no stone will be left unturned to make the function a brilliant success. Present indications point to its beingone of the most successful balls yet held in Pukekohe. A special feature of the event will be the delicious supper.
