LEAP YEAR SOCIAL
PREMIER HALL. A Leap Year social and dance under the auspices of a strong committee of local ladies will be held in the Premier Hall on Thursday, September 2. Arrangements are well in hand, and present indioatioiiS point to the gathering being a.i unqualified success from all points of view. The ladies vviM carry out ihc whole duties attached to such a function, which is a novelty is far as Pukekohe is concerned. The gentlemen have to observe etiquette in the I strictest sense of the word, and it should prove soraewh.it amusing to see them filling the places of ladies on this occasion. The supper, which will be an outstanding feature, Willi be served on two occasions, the j edibles to consist of trifles and salads, and other toothsome delicacies.
