FAR-REACHING FAME
OF FRANKLIN SHOW.
ENQUIRY FROM AFRICA.
*The fame of the Franklin Show has travelled afar, as witness the following letter received from the secretary of the Central Agricultural Society, 143, St. Andrew's Street, Bloemfontein, South Africa:— "The success of your society and its annual agricultural show and industrial exhibition has been followed by us with much interest, and being anxious to benefit by your experience, we are taking this opportunity of asking you to help us. This you can do in many ways, but we shall feel grateful if you will post us copies of your laot prize list, catalogue, and annual report. "Many other matteijs would be of infinite value to us, such as the management of your show, plans of buildings and cattle sheds, which have proven satisfactory, types of judp.ing rings, latest attractive novelties, etc. Any information re the above, and printed matter, would be welcome." The local secretary (Mr D. R. Hamilton) is supplying the desired information.
