TUAKAU TOWN BOARD DISCUSSION
ELECTRICITY GENERATING PROPOSAL. The electricity generating proposal of the Clevedon branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union to harness the Hunua Falls was before the beard. It was agreed that the proposal was one worthy of consideratian, and if carried into effect would be of material assistance to the district. It was decided to support the Farmers' Union in convening a conference of local bodies interested. 'Hie chairman was appointed to attend on behalf of the board, if such conference was held.
