MUSICAL EVENING.

A delightful musical evening, at which there were over thirty gues's. was given by Miss M. Taylor at her residence in Edinburgh Street last evening. A succession of piano and violir renditions, interspersed with tongs, made a very pleasing programme. 'terns were contributed as follows:—Piano solo. Miss S. Queensland: violin duet, Messrs. Middlemas Bros: songs, Mrs. Quan Motion, Miss Symes, Messrs. Churchhouse and B. Middlemas. The accompanists wvre Miss Ivy Duncan, and hostess, the latter also rendering, by request, pianoforte solos.
