The -property market in Manurewa continues to be very brisk, the latest big sale being some 200 acres belonging to Mr C. Coxhead, Weymouth, being disposed of to Mr. Friedlander, of Canterbury, for ! "18,000. Mr. Friedlander, it will be recollected, was the original purchaser of Ihe Karaka, and Papatoetoe, Colmar Road in the latter place being made by him. Judging b} the past, it may be anticipated that further subdivision and closer settlement will similarly follow. Mr. Friedlander's purchase, which will, in that event, be a splendid thing for the district. Mr. Friedlander, juim, is taking over the property.
