A returned soldie> relates a striking coincidence wfcicb come under his notice in England He paid a visit to Christchurch Priory in Hampshire, now a show-place, in bygone times a famous ecclesiastical establishment. In the visitors' book he noted two signatures. One was that oi the Kaiser. On the next I'ine appeared that of Louis Raemakers, the Dutcn artist whose skilful peno i was wielded with such terrilic effect in the terrible cartoons depictir.-g" the horrors perpetrated by tthe Kaiser's myrmidions during the war, av*d who, probably, did more than any othei neutral'to rouse the indignation ot the world i.gainst tne Arch Hun ant. his savage hordes. Ihe ijxtsposition of their signatures in the visitor-, book of an old English church was certainly remarkable.
