PAPATOETOE TOWN BOARD

ORDINARY MEETING. The ordinary meeting of the Papatoetoe Town Board was held on Tuesday night, when there were present: Messrs John Watson (chairman), A. W. Hall, J. D'Eath, S. McCullough, J. rfryant, A. U. Timewell, F. Mulcock, and the clerk (Mr. H. ,C. Ernest). Rates.

In accordance with notice of motion given at a previous meeting, MiBryant moved that the board levy the following rates for the year ending March 31, 1921. A general rate of 1 l-6d in £l, a hospital and charitable aid rate of,s_-16th of a penny in £l, a Papatoetoe Hall rate of l-8d in £l, a road loan rate of I jd in £1 on the Mangere portion of ihe town district, upon the capital rateable value of all property as appearing on the valuation roll. On the motion of Mr. D'Eath, seconded by the chairman, it was decided to increase the foreman's wages to 15s per day from June 1, 1920. Dray to be Acquired.
