On Tuesday Mr. Goodfellow and Messrs W. Claud Motion, Dynes Fulton, and R- McKcnzie, »the three mem- ' for this ward of the raw Zeatand Co-operative Dairy Company, ,*« v 'met the aejibliers of Alfriston and ftr tha Brookby School. Mr. •**ss?. M. Allen was voted lo the chair. ftfyr. Goodfellow gave a resume of the '■"v'lWit season's workings, and a fore--\2cast of the future. At the conclusion of his address he satisfactorily '"answered a number of questions. It was unanimously decided that in the beat interests of the suppliers a free market for Itheir produce was essential, and a telegram to this effect was sent to the Prime Minister asking fpr he Government's support. A committee was set up to look after the interests of the suppliers in the districts, of, Messrs J. Muir (convenor), J. Enfjutag, and J. Briddock. It was recognjijw : by al> that the present cartage was very unsatisraaKfc?. and this is one of the first tKs»;to enpage the committee's atit<fo|ion. A hearty vote of thanks to the speakers and ;to the chair terminated the meeting.
