ROADS OF PAPATOETOE.
Sir, -Allow me a few inches oi jour columns to ask a few questions and expitss opinions on the conditions of the above-mentioned roads. This morning, after two or very nearly three clays' rain, the r.oads are in an extremely sorry condition. Would they have been in a better condition if the Town Board had not two months ago staited putting the road grader on them? Even now they continue using it. Why can't all this road repair etc., be done during the fine months of the year? But no, instead of that they stai't to do it when the bad weather begins to set in. if a few more of the members of •the Town Board of that district had to tramp to and from the train, wet days as well as line ones, peilhaps we would get our roads and footpaths in better condition. RESIDENT.
