LYCEUM PICTURES. Pauline Frederick, an actress of considerable note in the picture world but seldom seen in Pukekoiit, is to appear in the star role in i Goldwyn drama entitled "The Woman of the Index." at the Premier Hall on to-morrow (Saturday) evening. This is a story of the play by George Broadhurst, and deals with a plot discovered by the secret service, li is a very powerful drama with a startling climax. The supports are gazette, scenic and comedy. SKATING. Ihis afternoon and evening and on Monday afternoon and evening. THE DANDIES. The 1920 company of Edward Branscombe's Dandies booked to ap- j pear in Pukekohe on Tuesday evening next is quite a new combination. , and includes such talented artists as George Sharratt (comedian), Annette I Lang (soubrette), Raymond Nichol- j son (tenor and light comedian), Rosa < Walton (pianist and monologuist), I iienn Millar (basso), Madeline Knight (contralto) and Christina Andrews (soprano). The two latter a■ e well known to New Zealand audiences. The tour is under the management of John Hopkins. As it will be j another year before we will get the 1921 company the public will do well to reserve Tuesday evening to enjoy this present visit.
