DRURY.
METHODIST HARVEST THANKSGIVING. On Sunday, March 28, the Drury Methodist Church their harvest lhanksgiving service, The service was taken by the Rev. (i. Frost, and appropriate anthems and were siing. There was a good display of fruit and vegetables contributed by the friends of the district. On Monday evening an entertainment was held in the hall, thevr> being a fair attendance. The Rev. G. Frost again kindly officiated as chairman, this being his last opno'--tunity of saying good-bye to the people of Drury, as he is shortiy to leave this circuit fur Levin. friends from Papakura and .\lamirewa. Songs were rendered by Mrs Bougcy, Miss Thomas, Miss r . .tig. Mr Burton and Mr. Dixon, and a duet by M : s=es White and Thomas. Mr. Burton also contributed several amusing musical monologues. After the concert the produce was sold in a very capable and witty manner by Mr. Burton, all the goods being disposed of at very fair and satisl'actoiy prices. Great credit is due to the friends for their efforts put forward to make Ihe harvest feslival such a success.
