PERSONAL.
Mr.and Mrs. E. Appleby, of Buckland, left. Auckland yesterday on a three months' visit to Sydney. They wilt attend the Sydney Royal Show, which takes place at the end of the present month. Mr. A. J. Melville, of Buckland, a breeder of milking Shorthorns, who is rapidly becoming prominent with the breed, left yesterday for Sydney to attend the Sydney Royal Show.
