buckland v. suburban. A team from the Buckland Lawn Tennis Club jourjieyed to Pukekohe Suburban courts, in Mr. Bert Leighton's lorrv, on Saturday, March 13, where a very enjoyable afternoon was spent. After a very even contest Buckland won by 10 games, lhe local ladies very daintily served afternoon tea. At the conclusion of the d»y's play Mr L. Bilkey thanked the home team for the very pleasant afternoon spent there, and congratulated them on their splendid courts, and also the good, clean sportsmanlike manner in which the '.fames weito contested. He invited them to the Buckland courts in the near future, and then called for three hearty cheers for Suburban. Mr Roose lesponded.
